Malcolm Davis Jr. @ Le Salon d'Art.

Native New Yorker and Cooper Union School of Art graduate, Malcolm A. Davis II utilizes glass, canvas, lamps, chandeliers and other objects in an attempt to capture the human experience. The decadent use of light, color, and the obsessive application of diamonds stimulate both the sense of exaltation and meditation through repetition. These mixed media arrangements of diamonds cut from magazines and foil papers, are used to crystallize our collective indulgences, desires, and experiences into compositions, portraits, and objects.

on view until December 2nd 2010 at 90 Stanton Street, NYC.
